Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of professional burnout among teachers of higher educational institutions. Root causes such as high teaching loads, information overload, routine bureaucratic tasks, and lack of support and recognition are examined. Particular attention is paid to the importance of quality teaching and professional development as the main means of preventing burnout. Ways to overcome and prevent this problem are proposed, including advanced training, optimization of tasks and improvement of working conditions
