The subject of the study was the ecological features of biodiversity formation in the Archa forests located on the territory of the Kyrgyz-Ata State National Nature Park. The main objective of the study is the development of ecological bases of biodiversity conservation in the forests of the Kyrgyz-Ata State Natural National Park, selection of priority areas for the future improvement of sustainability, productivity, protective and recreational functions, health promotion, conservation and restoration of the studied forests. To the methods of research applied silvicultural and taxation methods and methods of mathematical modelling, statistical, geo-information, cartographic. During the research the recreational impact on juniper forests, vegetation and soil located on the territory of the national natural park was studied, as well as the ecological assessment of sustainability of perennial juniper forests was carried out. Based on the results obtained, reforestation measures to create juniper forests close to the natural forests of the park should be carried out only on juniper highland strips, where each vertical area corresponds to its own set of environmental factors that determine the regularities of their distribution along the vertical zonality effective practical recommendations were given
